Well, it's quick, easy and simple.... what else do you need? A warm noodles salad with a burst of mild flavor mix of chilli, basil and sesame, which is served with chopped peanuts. Try it out and you will love every bit of it!
Required Ingredients:
Peanut oil: 1 tbsp
Fresh ginger: 2 tbsp (minced)
Fresh garlic: 2 tbsp (minced)
Sesame oil: 3 tbsp
Vinegar: 2 tbsp
Soy sauce (light): 2 tbsp
Hot chilli oil: 1 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Sugar: 1 and 1/2 tsp
Egg noodles: 400 grams
Onions: 12 (thinly sliced)
Red chilli flakes: 1 to 2 tsp
Roasted peanuts: 1/2 cup
Basil leaves: 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves: for garnishing (chopped)
Required Instructions:
- Boil noodles in salted hot water added with a teaspoon of oil. Drain the excess water from the boiled noodles and rinse with cold water. Keep it aside on a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, make the dressing by adding sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, hot chilli oil, red chilli flakes and salt.
- Heat peanut oil over medium heat and add garlic and ginger to it. Saute it for a minute or two, and add it the dressing.
- Add onions and peanuts to the noodles. Now add the dressing and toss.
- Transfer the salad to the serving dish and garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve at room temperature and enjoy!
