Spicy Sesame Noodles Salad with chopped peanuts and basil leaves

Well, it's quick, easy and simple.... what else do you need? A warm noodles salad with a burst of mild flavor mix of chilli, basil and sesame, which is served with chopped peanuts. Try it out and you will love every bit of it!



Required Ingredients:

Peanut oil: 1 tbsp
Fresh ginger: 2 tbsp (minced)
Fresh garlic: 2 tbsp (minced)
Sesame oil: 3 tbsp
Vinegar: 2 tbsp
Soy sauce (light): 2 tbsp
Hot chilli oil: 1 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Sugar: 1 and 1/2 tsp
Egg noodles: 400 grams
Onions: 12 (thinly sliced)
Red chilli flakes: 1 to 2 tsp
Roasted peanuts: 1/2 cup
Basil leaves: 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves: for garnishing (chopped)

Required Instructions:
  1. Boil noodles in salted hot water added with a teaspoon of oil. Drain the excess water from the boiled noodles and rinse with cold water. Keep it aside on a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, make the dressing by adding sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, hot chilli oil, red chilli flakes and salt.
  3. Heat peanut oil over medium heat and add garlic and ginger to it. Saute it for a minute or two, and add it the dressing.
  4. Add onions and peanuts to the noodles. Now add the dressing and toss.
  5. Transfer the salad to the serving dish and garnish it with coriander leaves. Serve at room temperature and enjoy!
